Certified Organic Bell Bean (Vicia faba) seeds. Small seeded fava. Planted in the fall and tilled into the soil in early spring when in 10% bloom to give lots of organic matter and nitrogen. Treat seed with Rhizobia inoculant (sold separately) for the most nitrogen fixing. Also planted for silage, bell beans are tolerant of a wide range of soil conditions including wet areas, acid pH , etc. Use 3-5 pounds/ 1000 sq ft or 100-120 pounds/ acre. Sold by the pound.
