Cryptolaemus montrozieri. Both larvae and adults consume mealybugs, as well as aphids, whitefly scales, and soft scales when mealybugs are not present. Work best with high populations of mealybugs and 70-80 deg. F. Use 1 beetle to 25 mealybugs OR 100/200 sq. ft. in a greenhouse OR 2000 per acre in mature fruit trees OR 500-5,000/acre, when mealybugs first appear & as needed. 100 Adults are sent, do not refrigerate. Adults lay 200-700 eggs during their 27-70 day lifespan.
