This tool allows you to test the soil moisture anywhere in your garden or vineyard in just a minutes or so. Unlike electronic soil moisture meters which stay in one location (and are also valuable tools to have!), this soil sampler can be pushed into the ground at any location and an actual column of soil extracted that can be felt by hand to determine the soil moisture at depths up to 20"
